We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator Trainee to help us redefine the physical and digital music industry. The company has invented a new technology to produce on-demand vinyl records and built a web platform for music creators to create and sell their product worldwide via our store. We are working with leading record labels, streaming services, digital service providers, distributors, and iconic global artists who are keen to partner with us to build a global solution for physical media. It is our mission that any music creator, big and small, will have frictionless access to offer vinyl and CD to their fans via our innovative solution and planned production/fulfilment centres in Europe, USA and Asia.

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Operator Trainee to join our team and play a vital role in our production process. In this role, you will be an integral part of our production team, learning to operate various machinery and equipment used in the vinyl record production process. Your focus on quality, problem-solving skills, and dedication will ensure we maintain the highest production standards.

Responsibilities
  • Hands-On Training: Learn to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and machinery used in our production process.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process, inspect materials and products for quality, and make precise adjustments to ensure top-notch results.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient production.
  • Process Management: Follow established manufacturing processes and maintain accurate records of production jobs, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our production team to prioritize and fulfill production orders promptly, contributing to the timely delivery of products.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the organization and management of supplies and materials to keep the production line running smoothly.
  • Career Development: Earn relevant qualifications and certifications as you grow in your role, with opportunities for further skill development and career advancement.
Minimum Requirements
  • GCSE C or above in English and Maths.
  • A keen interest in the production process and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time to meet production deadlines.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials if required.
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts and weekends if necessary.
Desirable Skills
  • Ideally, experience or knowledge of Digital print and finishing, although not essential.
  • Familiarity with vinyl records.
