This role will operate over a 24/7 shift pattern (average of 42 hours per week, 7am – 7pm/7pm-7am) 4/5 week rotational shift pattern. In return you will receive a competitive salary starting at £27,611 & 33% shift allowance. Once signed as fully competent, the salary for this role would then increase to £31,253 & 33% shift allowance. You will also be eligible for our award-winning flexible rewards and benefits package and excellent pension provision. To be successful in the interview you will have essential skills and experience for the role:
Industrial experience, particularly within a FMCG, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Proven experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment whilst also maintaining high quality product/quality standards. High level of mechanical and technical knowledge with the capability to operate and maintain manufacturing and packing equipment. Proven highly technical, logical approach to work in a manufacturing setting. Experience of working in FDA and ISO regulated environments. Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP and 5S. Experience in continuous improvement projects. Familiar with working in highly regulated, change controlled environments. Experience in working in a high care environment and gowning procedures.
Preferred for the role:
Experience of working in dry powder environments. Ideally familiar with CIP processes. Technical qualifications preferable but not essential. Experience in using hoists. Experience in MES systems.
Good team-working, communication skills and able to work independently are vital for the role. Along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to solve complex, technical problems, problem-solving skills and a logical mindset.
Excellent written English and Maths, Basic IT skills (interaction with MES system, LIMs and ability to follow documented procedures are all key).
