Job description

We are recruiting Production Operatives for our client based near Blackwood, Newport and our client is holding a two day induction on 23rd and 24th April 2025.

Crumlin, NP11


Contract Type:

Ongoing, there is a real opportunity for this to become a permanent job for the right candidates!


Working Pattern:

Full Time, Continental shift pattern - it is important that you have the flexibility to work both day and night shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Working hours are 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am, working in a 2-3 days on/off arrangement. You must be able to work both day and night shifts.


Start Dates:

ASAP following a successful induction


Hourly Rate:

£12.21ph


Due to the location and the working hours, you should have access to private transport.


Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out various tasks in the production process, including operating machinery, assembling components, and packaging finished products.
  2. Ensure the quality and accuracy of products by closely following operating procedures and specifications.
  3. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold safety standards and efficiency.
  4. Collaborate effectively with teammates to achieve daily production targets and ensure compliance with all Company rules and regulations, and also maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
  5. Adhere to and conform with the required technical and quality specifications in line with the Company's ISO 9000 quality systems.

About You:
  1. Previous production experience advantageous.
  2. Ability to work full-time and shift patterns - please note that we aren't able to consider candidates on Student Visa.
  3. Access to private transport ideal.
