Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure all systems are functioning at optimal efficiency and safety standards.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and work completed.
• Assist in the installation and set up of new equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve processes and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety and company policies.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications.
