An opportunity has arisen for Manufacturing Engineers Product Introduction to join the Rolls-Royce team in Bristol.
A number of exciting opportunities for Manufacturing Engineering roles are available within our Manufacturing, Assembly and Test team. These include roles across a range of manufacturing commodities.
These roles present an exciting opportunity to work at the frontline, creating, developing and adapting manufacturing processes that will be introduced and used for years.
You would be responsible for ensuring manufacturability of new products and be familiar with "Design for Manufacture". You will also be required to interact and manage relationships across various functions internally and externally, ranging from design teams to suppliers and onto directly influencing the customer and their requirements.
You will have experience of assessing the capability of manufacturing suppliers and source selection and approval. You will act as the technical authority, ensuring the application of manufacturing process controls in the supply chain.
You will also have experience of Technology Development and Product Introduction methodologies such as Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process and will be working with external suppliers to create, define and implement several methods of manufacture.
You will have experience in the creation of PFMEA / MSA / FAIR etc.
