About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in Winsford. Responsibilities will include scoping, specifying, and implementing operational and transactional performance improvement projects to improve customer service, reducing manufacturing costs, and reducing lead times.
Play a key role in implementing and enhancing the new Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, supporting site layout redesign, and contributing to automation and lean manufacturing projects. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Essential:
Understanding of MRP systems and their role in manufacturing environments (training will be provided). Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools. Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is desirable. Basic knowledge of automation technologies and processes is advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Project leadership and management of business improvement projects and installations. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Proactive and detail-oriented mindset. Commitment to driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
