Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will gain real-world experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to improve processes, troubleshoot equipment, and support production initiatives. This is ideal for students who are mechanically inclined and eager to apply their engineering knowledge in a practical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in process optimization for injection molding and assembly operations.
  2. Support troubleshooting of molding machines, automation systems, and assembly equipment.
  3. Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to improve efficiency.
  4. Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, production, and maintenance.
  6. Develop work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  7. Perform hands-on work with tooling, fixtures, and mechanical components.
  8. Support engineering projects related to equipment upgrades, process validation, and automation.

Qualifications:

  1. Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing.
  3. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to work full-time during the internship period.
  5. Interest in injection molding, automation, and manufacturing processes.
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  7. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
