We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a specialist manufacturing company based in Southport.

The Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer:

• Write CNC Programs with CNC Machining experience.
• Integrate with the Engineering Department team immediately.
• Develop and implement processes while ensuring quality ownership.
• Take full ownership of special projects and manage associated files and documents.
• Generate CNC programs ensuring quality surface finishes and aesthetics.
• Support NCM process for route cause identification and corrective actions.

The Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer:

• Workplace experience programming Mazak and Doosan 3 and 4 axis CNC Milling machines.
• Experience with FeatureCAM software is ideal.
• Ability to understand FANUC code and read engineering drawings.
• Experience with introducing and implementing new products is essential.
• Mazak Millturn machine experience is desirable.
• Must be a team player and agile in approach.

The Rewards/ Package for the Manufacturing Engineer role:

• Salary £35,000+ (DOE).
• 33 days’ holiday, including statutory holidays plus pension.
• Working hours are 37 per week, Monday-Thursday 7:30am until 4:15pm and Fridays 7:30am-12:30pm. Alternative shift patterns may be considered.
