Our client is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for components. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and multi-skilled teams to ensure that value-added engineering is always applied. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in increasing efficiencies, reducing waste, and maintaining detailed documentation to support process improvements.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for components
  2. Work closely with customers and multi-skilled teams
  3. Ensure value-added engineering is always applied
  4. Conduct root cause analysis and apply lean manufacturing principles
  5. Increase efficiencies and reduce waste
  6. Create detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams and work instructions
  7. Analyse production metrics to drive continuous improvement
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, such as ISO9001
  9. Utilise strong knowledge of lean methodologies and problem-solving skills
  10. Work effectively in a team and autonomously
  11. Apply Six Sigma principles to drive process improvements
  12. Pay attention to details in all aspects of manufacturing processes
Qualifications
