Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer required for an eyewear manufacturer based in Brentford. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a similar role but industry experience is not essential.

Manufacturing Engineer Position Overview

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for eyewear production.
• Analyse current processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal functionality of machinery.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities.

Manufacturing Engineer Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the eyewear or consumer goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
