Your background as a Manufacturing Engineer:
Your background could be very varied – the role would suit a candidate with a manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or mechanical engineering background who is interested in how products and materials are manufactured.
Specific industry experience is not massively important but an interest in working on the development of products for automotive, specialist vehicle, aerospace, defence, marine or similar applications would be beneficial.
You will hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering or similar engineering discipline.
You must be eligible for UK Defence Security Clearance for this role.
Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of product development and manufacturing projects, troubleshooting manufacturing issues to ensure a consistent & optimised process.
Meet the highest demands required by their customers operating within the automotive, motorsport, aerospace, marine, defence, and medical industry sectors, by ensuring processes are effective, stable & predictable.
Demonstrate a proactive manner with the ability to prioritise and support multiple projects simultaneously to ensure the smooth integration of new products into the manufacturing process.
Work closely with the production team to investigate and uncover the root causes of failures and implement effective solutions.
Support the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing to drive innovation.
