Are you an Engineer with an electrical/mechanical background in the manufacturing sector, looking for an opportunity to step up into a leadership role?

You will play a key role within a new department, where you will be responsible for the maintenance of operationally critical machines, and ensure all processes run smoothly. This is a great job for someone looking for progression at a stable, industry renowned and financially secure business.

Established for over 70 years, this company has gained a reputation as a household name within the Food industry.

Working as part of a team of 5 Engineers, you will rotate shifts starting at either 6am or 1pm, working one Saturday a month. Over time will be paid at time and half and you will receive training and an opportunity to become a Chief Engineer in time.

THE ROLE

• Maintenance of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors and other technical machinery
• Monitor and repair all electrical systems
• Work as part of a team to ensure system down time is minimal

THE PERSON

• Previously worked as an Engineer in the manufacturing, food or beverage sectors
• Experienced in both mechanical and electrical engineering
• Must have own car to travel to site and be prepared to work shifts.
