A market leading Aerospace client of ours is currently in the market for a Dimensional Manufacturing Engineer. You will play a vital role in supporting and improving the dimensional inspection and proof processes within our manufacturing operations. You'll ensure that all dimensional inspection methods are standardised, robust, and deliver right-first-time quality.

Key Responsibilities
Provide daily technical support to the plant's dimensional inspection cell and proof department.
Oversee and optimise inspection processes including Computer Tomography (CT), Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Ultrasonic inspection, Comparator Gauges, and Caliper Gauges.
Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including Gauge studies, to validate changes in equipment, components, fixtures, and software upgrades.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the dimensional cell focusing on cost efficiency, increased capacity, enhanced data access, improved integrity, and expanded functionality.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of dimensional control and compliance.
Skills & Experience Required
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles, ideally in a high-precision or aerospace environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of Six Sigma, Lean principles, and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication, organisational, and presentation skills - comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
High computer literacy with experience in data-driven environments.
Strong interpretation skills of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Desirable: Experience in measurement systems programming, NX or CAD systems.
