Pay Rate: Up to £23.91p/h Inside IR35

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Manufacturing Controller?

1. Stock control and storekeeping, including shelf-life management
2. Loading manufacturing cells with required jobs according to schedules
3. Packing, including the use of hand tools
4. Receiving and issuing tooling
5. Updating computer records and kitting activity
6. Loading and unloading lorries

What are we looking for in our next Manufacturing Controller?

1. Previous experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control
2. Ability to follow instructions and work independently
3. Willingness to work flexible shift patterns
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Proactive mindset and ability to use initiative
6. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
7. Manual handling training
8. Lifting & Slinging training (including overhead cranes)
9. ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training
10. PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
11. Forklift truck licence
12. Knowledge of Kanban and 2-bin systems
13. Experience with an Enterprise Planning System (e.g., SAP)
