Manufacturing Cell Manager

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:25

Friday 08:00 - 15:50

Salary: £35k - £42k

This is a permanent full time role. There is no option for part time, no option for student hours.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Cell Manager who knows their way around the precision engineering world. Someone who is either ready to take the next step in their career or someone who is looking to join a company with an expanding order book.

What's will you be doing?

You will be joining an established management team covering:

• CNC machining
• CNC Lasers
• Welding
• Inspection
• Deburring

Perfect world we would love someone who knows it all; however, if you are an expert in your cell who knows a bit about the others or is willing to learn, there is still a space for you.

With this role, you will be managing a team of 15 - 20 people ranging from operators to team leaders on 24/5 shift patterns.

You will also have the standard responsibilities of a manager such as H&S implementation, cost control, KPI management, etc.

What are we looking for in you?

• Previous experience in a supervisor or management role within precision engineering.
• Someone who is ready to hit the ground running.
• Able to put the pressure on but not push people out the door during busy times.
• Flexible - the company runs a 24/5 shift pattern; you may have to pop in on other shifts.

You must have full right to work in the UK; there is no sponsorship available with this company.
