Manual Machinist, Leek

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled machinist to join our client in the Leek area.

The company is a world leader in welding and robotic manipulation, providing bespoke engineering solutions for their worldwide client base.

The job will involve:

• Set and operate manual machines, horizontal and vertical borers for large fabrications and components, including milling, drilling/tapping, and boring to some tight tolerances.
• Use height gauges, micrometers, and verniers to accurately measure finished parts.
• Adhere to company health & safety at all times and showcase quality workmanship throughout.

The shifts are 08:00-17:00 Monday - Thursday and 07:30-16:00 Friday, with regular overtime available.

It is essential that applicants have previous experience in precision engineering, specifically in manual vertical boring. Applicants must be able to commute to Leek for this role.
