The Role of Toolmaker / Manual Machinist
The company is looking for a good all-rounder toolmaker; the candidate will also have machine building experience.

Duties of Toolmaker / Manual Machinist

1. To repair and/or maintain all tooling.
2. Experienced operating Toolroom machinery.
3. Toolmaker - Operating Manual Lathes, Mills, EDM, and grinding machines.
4. Machine Build - Special Purpose Machinery.
5. To support manufacturing in achieving customer satisfaction, quality, and production output targets.
6. Ensure that tooling is repaired and refurbished as necessary within the limits of the tool room capabilities.
7. Produce and repair jigs and fixtures as requested.

Requirements of Toolmaker / Manual Machinist

1. Ability to operate Tool room machinery.
2. Experience operating manual mills and lathes.
3. Machine Building Experience.
4. Can read engineering drawings.
5. Flexible attitude.
6. Apprenticeship trained.
7. Good communication skills.
8. Enthusiasm, loyalty, flexibility, the ability to work with team members, and a caring attitude towards the job.
