Hourly rate: DOE £13 - £16 per hour

Overview

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a global footprint company that is world-renowned for its manufacturing capabilities of producing high-quality, detailed components through various machine manufacturing for lucrative customers, primarily within the aerospace market.

As part of the company's growth, our client is looking for a Manual Machine Operator to join the team on a permanent basis. If you have previous Manual Machine Operator or CNC Operator experience, this could be a great next role for you!

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating manual machines
• Working with a variety of metals to machine small to medium-sized components for the aerospace industry
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Using manual measuring equipment to self-inspect your own work as a Manual Machine Operator

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Strong experience within a machining role
• Comfortable performing multiple setups per day as a Manual Machine Operator
• Confidence in performing self-inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
