Role - Program Control Specialist

Location - Yeovil

Full time 37.5 hours per week.

Pay Rate: £19 - £24 per hour (depending on experience)

Duration: 1 year

Hybrid Working: 3 days in Office, 2 days at home

About the role
Join a team of Program Control Specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with an Integrated Program Team (IPT), assisting them in developing program plans, Work-Breakdown-Structure (WBS), and analysing data to help make informed and strategic decisions, using data and reports. You will gain insights and experience with other Program Control Specialist responsibilities such as assigning resources/budgets to work scope and earned value methods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Measure program performance
2. Prepare and publish metrics and reports
3. Maintain and track milestones
4. Track budget and program financial data
5. Analyse cost schedule integration
6. Recommend corrective actions
7. Improve processes

Experience & Skills Required

Essential

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office package skills e.g. Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc
3. 1+ years of Project/Business Management experience

We Value

1. Experience as a Business Analyst, including the use of Earned Value Management
2. Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
3. User experience of SAP system
4. Experience in financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management
5. Microsoft Project Experience

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Full BPSS Screening (Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
