What you'll do:
Lead development of manipulation software, ensuring precision, reliability, and safety.
Collaborate with hardware engineers, AI researchers, and software teams to integrate manipulation capabilities into robotic systems.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in manipulation algorithms, robotic control, and AI methodologies.
Troubleshoot and debug manipulation software, providing technical support where needed.
Contribute to the full software development life cycle, from design to deployment.
Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in software development for robotics.
Your background:
Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on robotic manipulation, motion planning, or related fields.
Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS.
Strong understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control theory.
Experience with motion planning algorithms (e.g., RRT, PRM) and optimization methods.
Familiarity with perception techniques such as computer vision, depth sensing, and tactile sensing.
Experience with simulation tools like Gazebo or V-REP.
Understanding of AI methodologies, including Transformers for perception and decision-making.
Knowledge of the latest trends in robotic manipulation, AI, and automation.
