5+ years in corporate banking credit risk, ideally with team management experience.

Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for anyone with fluent MANDARIN and recent experience as a SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST or with 5 years in this specialist field who is now looking for their next step. This is a corporate banking role and this experience is essential. The company is an international organisation and very well respected in its area. Ideally, you will need some team management experience to lead and nurture more junior staff as well as a good knowledge of risk compliance issues. The team you will join is very high performing and also friendly and supportive. You will use your fluent Mandarin daily.

Essential Experience:

Several years previous experience within Credit Risk in corporate finance.

Responsibilities:

Provide high quality credit risk assessments and recommendations for corporate clients.
Undertake credit analysis of country risks where needed.
Provide knowledge and expertise to all Business Areas on credit related matters.
Assist with the structuring of prospective transactions.
Provide guidance in respect of the completion of credit proposals.
Help identify all credit risks to the bank from a portfolio of clients.
Organise and attend local Credit Committee meetings.
Present credit proposals to Head Office Credit Committees.
Minimise the time taken between problem recognition and cash recovery.
Regularly review ‘problem loans’. Escalate issues where required.
Be fully aware of the Risk Management & Compliance framework.

Requirements:

Degree educated.
5+ years Corporate Banking credit risk background (large corporate and FI clients in UK / Western European markets).
Fluent Mandarin and English.
