Managing Director - Insurance

Our client, a key player in the General Insurance sector, is looking for a dynamic Managing Director to spearhead their specialist division. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker to guide commercial and operational excellence, ensuring top-notch service delivery to clients.

Location: UK Remote working

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee specialist divisions within Property, Motor and Financial Lines. You will hold a UK role for the business and consolidate and enhance the performance of disciplines by way of collaboration, acquisition and driving super performance to be market leaders.
2. Support the CEO's strategic vision by analysing market trends, leveraging performance metrics, and identifying growth opportunities, ensuring profitable revenue streams.
3. Guide the onboarding process for new acquisitions and lead cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, HR, and Compliance, to achieve operational excellence.

4. Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the SM&CR regime and regulatory frameworks.
