(HVAC & Refrigeration)

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Bonuses + Car Allowance + Training & Progression

2-3 year set plan to take over as Managing Director (Package of 150,000 +)Location: Peterborough - Office-based

This is a UK-based company serving domestic and international markets with innovative solutions and allowing contributing to Horizon (EU) and Innovate (UK) funded Research and Development projects, this role offers exposure to cutting-edge advancements in the field.

This company is seeking someone to step up and take the helm from the existing Managing Director. You will need to combine your firsthand expertise in HVAC & Refrigeration design and consultancy with strategic leadership to drive the company to new heights.

Candidates who are encouraged to apply to the role are either Technical Sales Engineers from thermal Energy Storage for HVAC & Refrigeration OR HVAC & R Engineers with Industrial experience.

The Role:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Sales Leadership: Actively sell the company's HVAC & Refrigeration products and solutions, leveraging your design and consultancy expertise to meet client needs effectively.
• Team Building: Recruit, develop, and train a high-performing team of qualified sales engineers, creating a robust and knowledgeable sales force.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with HVAC & Refrigeration consultants and end users, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Use your in-depth understanding of HVAC & Refrigeration design, consultancy, and applications to speak the language of consultants and end-users, ensuring credibility and trust in all interactions.

The Person:

• Technical Knowledge: You have a strong foundation in HVAC & Refrigeration, gained through hands-on design/consultancy experience with HVAC&R companies or consultants.
• Sales Acumen: You have experience in engaging with clients, identifying their needs, and delivering solutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
• Leadership Potential: While extensive management experience is not essential, you are a natural leader with the vision and drive to build and inspire a team.
• Industry Insight: You are familiar with the challenges and opportunities within the HVAC&R industry and are comfortable engaging with consultants and end-users at a professional level.
