Job Description
This position reports to the Senior Manager | Domain Liaison, Platforms & Technology: Audit & Regulatory Response Unit (TAR-U). TAR-U is responsible for increasing the Platforms & Technology's effectiveness on responding to Regulators, Auditors, & 2nd Line stakeholders (RASL). The successful candidate is a results-driven individual, who thrives in a fast-paced complex environment.
The key objective of the team is to engage directly with respective domains to increase knowledge sharing to ensure all regulatory, audit and 2nd line (RASL) responses are answered with speed and accuracy. This role is forward deployed and will have the following core responsibilities:
- Align domain knowledge with corporate goals and strategies.
- Serve as first point of contact for the segment, understanding the characteristics, requirements, and proactively flag any potential changes/impacts.
- Anticipate trends, challenges, and opportunities in their area of expertise.
- Adaptable to strict deadlines.
- Ability to take a complex scenario and break it down to a simple story (Strong storytelling skills).
- Ability to navigate through a large organization and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive optimal outcomes.
- Data/fact-driven, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between different stakeholders.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for challenging the status quo and taking action to achieve results.
- Coordinates with Senior Managers of TAR-U to ensure messages to stakeholders and/or employees are consistent, appropriate, and aligned to the bank strategies and executive management direction.
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
- Overseeing, leading, and planning cadence and processes that will require alignment across multiple areas, including communications with leaders and work stream owners.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Assess/identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders and business management where required.
- Ensure business operations follow applicable requirements.
- Act as a brand ambassador for TAR-U.
