Job Description Summary:
PayPal is seeking a talented and performance driven Sales Manager to join PayPal’s Market Development Sales Team in UK North/Scotland.

Job Description:
As a member of the Zettle Sales Team at PayPal, you will contribute by leading your sales team to identify new business opportunities within the instore and omni-channel space and stimulate demand for PayPal products and services by increasing awareness and credibility within small business communities. Through your efforts, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving growth for both our merchants and PayPal.

This role requires a clear track record of sales leadership, the ability to champion sales strategy and implementation, contribution towards driving initiatives influencing results, and the ability to accelerate growth to drive revenue and improve the customer experience. Your success will be determined based on consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals, enabling a culture of accountability with your account executives, and hiring exceptional sales talent, while creating a positive, results-driven and professional environment to influence and drive the performance of a newly established sales team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage a team of Market Development Managers (field sales) to inspire, coach, and motivate them to meet and exceed monthly sales targets, set clear goals and expectations and proactively support their achievement.
  • Build exceptional relationships with SMB communities and merchants by establishing rapport and developing trust to understand their needs.
  • Be passionate about helping small business and demonstrate a strong ability to drive sales effectiveness, quality, and efficiency while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively monitor key performance indicators to analyze trends, identify best practices and opportunities, and create and execute action plans to meet and exceed established sales and quality goals.

Requirements:
  • 5 + years of relevant sales management experience within a B2B, financial services or business development environment preferably within SMB.
  • Must have a proven track record of success in meeting sales targets, familiarity with selling methodologies and experience driving innovation.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively, both on a team and individually, and proven experience adapting and thriving in a high energy, ever-changing, dynamic sales environment.
  • Open to personal change and continuous improvement and the ability to build relationships and trust quickly with team, peers, and leaders across the organization.
  • Proven leadership in building, developing, and retaining high performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
