Are you an experienced Corporate Finance Manager? If you have experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions within a Global Organisation and providing Group reporting guidance and support to key stakeholders when accounting and reporting for major transactions, this could be an exciting opportunity for you to explore.
As a Corporate Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of GSK's objective of growing and diversifying our business through acquisitions, other collaboration agreements and/or divestments to ensure continued focus on our core business. The role is also critical in delivering timely and accurate financial and management information for group internal and external reporting purposes for these types of transactions.

Please note, this is a 13-month secondment/fixed term role.
In this role you will
- Provide guidance, support, review and training to the key stakeholders in the reporting and systems requirements relevant to GSK Group reporting and transaction related activity.
- Assist in the implementation of the strategic integration/divestment initiatives and activities.
- Participate in pre-deal discussions with the corporate/business development, business contacts, legal and wider functional project teams including review of legal contracts, Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) cost discussions and operating/trading models and structure of the deals.
- Build strong relationships within the project transaction teams and key finance stakeholders by consulting with Trading partners, Risk and Compliance, Supply Chain, and Group Tax to assess implications and derive project plans.
- Ensure key stakeholders are engaged and kept informed of progress until full cut-over of activities is completed (i.e. stabilised daily operational activities as BAU).
- Promote project governance over all transaction related activities, escalating significant issues and risks with key stakeholders/steering committee.
Why you?Basic Qualifications & Skills:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:- Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related degree discipline.
- Qualified member of a recognised professional finance body (e.g. ICAEW / CIMA / ACCA).
- Experience of Group Consolidation and Reporting essential.
- Excellent technical reporting skills with knowledge of IFRSs (ideally as they apply to GSK).
- Experience working in an environment that is changing and uncertain, whilst prioritizing activities and deliver under pressure.
- Ability to build relationships quickly and develop credibility with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:- Extensive knowledge of GSK's financial processes and consolidation systems at the divisional level and at the group level.
- Experience of using BISON (SAP FC) / other Group consolidation reporting systems.
- Strong communicator with good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to create solutions to problems and challenges.
- An enthusiastic team player with a flexible manner.
