Netflix Manager, Ads Revenue & Yield Analytics - EMEA in London, United Kingdom

Within the broader Finance & Strategy (F&S) organization, we’re expanding our Ads Revenue & Yield Analytics team, who will steward our Ads go-to-market strategy and provide commercial guidance to the sales teams. In this role, you will work with the Ads business in the EMEA region, inclusive of Sales & Account Management, with specialization across Ad Sales pricing, inventory management & revenue analytics and forecasting.

In tandem, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow quickly in this space, working closely with a global, cross-functional team across F&S, Partnerships, Consumer, Marketing & Content to help build a cohesive understanding and unified approach to advertising at Netflix.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Guide the Sales team in shaping commercial strategy for agency/brand development and deal desk governance.
  2. Inform Go-to-market pricing & packaging requirements for new ad products, targeting capabilities and/or sponsorships that help us achieve company goals and drive business growth.
  3. Partner with Ads Sales to create, manage and implement negotiated ratecards for preferred partnerships.
  4. Provide guidance to Account Management on deal approvals & business exceptions to ensure pricing & deal terms adhere to corporate policy and minimize future billing discrepancies.
  5. Steward internal & marketplace feedback to develop Sales incentive programs and/or resolve pricing/packaging roadblocks.
  6. Partner with Ads FP&A and Ads Sales Operations to inform quarterly and annual Ads revenue targets/forecasts, by capturing the quantitative outputs that summarize the performance of the Ads Program across portfolio dimensions.
  7. Partner with Ads FS&A & Ads Sales Ops in providing detailed views in specific areas of investment to identify incremental revenue streams and highlight key variances across the portfolio.
  8. Work cross-functionally to generate supply & demand reporting, evaluate trends and support optimization to facilitate growth of the business.
  9. Manage inventory avails across the Ad Sales product suite, with a deep understanding of our inventory composition, pricing strategies and serving logic / delivery efficiency.
  10. Develop inventory guidelines for Sales & Advertising partners to best maximize campaign delivery & KPI performance.
  11. Optimize our targeting go-to-market strategies based on data-driven insights of our targeted inventory pools alongside advertiser buying behavior.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing & Planning, and/or Advertising Strategy.
  2. Embodies Netflix’s cultural values and is excited to work in a high-performance culture.
  3. Knowledge of the streaming advertising and ad tech ecosystem is highly preferred.
  4. Strong modeling skills and comfort with manipulating large datasets in Google Sheets, Excel, and other data visualization tools.
  5. A strong attention to detail and eye towards using the 80/20 rule to address problems.
  6. Candidates must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, able to work autonomously, and perform tasks with a wide range of difficulties.
  7. Very strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver under tight timelines.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners at all levels.
  9. The ability to communicate financial calculations with varying degrees of detail depending on the forum. You know your audience and what they’re looking for.
