Disability Information Scotland has been working since 1999 supporting disabled people, their families, carers and those who work with them to have access to impartial, reliable and accurate information.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate who has experience of managing staff and running an organisation to lead and grow our charity in line with our 2024-2027 Strategy, supported by our small staff team.
You will also have experience in financial management, fundraising and organisational development and have great people and communication skills, plus a proven track record in delivering results.

Due to development of our service, we have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Madelvic Housing Support Services team.
Leading by example, the Team Leader will support the Area Manager in ensuring that all staff are managed and supervised effectively and that the highest level of autism specific practice and standards are maintained. You will also manage the staff to deliver support plans to our service users and work with healthcare professionals to ensure support plans are to the highest quality. The role will involve supporting the Area Manager to implement the service development plan and lead on the achievement of the organisation's strategic aims at the service level.
The Team Leader will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, therefore, you will be able to demonstrate excellent social care project management skills and have a working knowledge of current legislation relating to the social care sector.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

We are looking for an Employment Programme Coordinator to work alongside our existing Coordinator to deliver and further develop the Employment programme and contribute to achieving the vision of disabled people being fully included throughout all Scottish society as equal citizens.
The role involves the delivery, promotion and ongoing development of Inclusion Scotland’s Employment programme, including the “We Can Work” national disability internship programme which offers paid internships in the voluntary and public sectors and within the Scottish Parliament. The role will also focus on extending internships to the private sector and developing other opportunities to support disabled people’s employment.
