Job description

Our client is a leading provider of vocational training and apprenticeships, as they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced Management and Business Administration Apprenticeships Trainer to join their team and inspire the next generation of business leaders.

The Role:

As a Management and Business Administration Apprenticeships Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality training and support to apprentices enrolled in business administration and management programs. You will guide learners through their apprenticeship journey, helping them develop practical, on-the-job skills and business knowledge that will set them up for long-term career success. This is a hybrid role that combines online and face to face learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Apprenticeship Training: Lead engaging and interactive training sessions for apprentices in business administration and management. Use a variety of teaching methods, including face-to-face and online learning, to ensure that all apprentices receive high-quality training.
  • Assess Learners' Progress: Evaluate and assess apprentices’ work-based learning, including assignments, projects, and portfolios. Provide timely, constructive feedback to help learners improve and achieve their qualifications.
  • Support Apprentices: Offer one-to-one mentoring and coaching to apprentices, guiding them through their apprenticeship program, addressing any challenges, and providing career development advice.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and update training materials, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards, apprenticeships frameworks, and employer needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Industry Experience: Significant experience in a management or business administration. Level 5 management qualification preferred.  
  • Teaching or Training Experience: A formal teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS, or equivalent)
  • Organizational Skills: Strong planning and time management skills to manage multiple apprentices, assessments, and workplace visits while meeting deadlines and compliance standards.
