Job description

In your role, you will deliver DevOps advisory that will enable the adoption, acceleration, and innovation on the cloud for our clients. This will mean:

  1. Assessing, defining and implementing DevOps capabilities that will deliver on innovation, agility, cost benefit and time to market promises.
  2. Adopting a holistic approach across multiple dimensions to modernise the developer experience, including Organization & culture, DevOps practices & process, tooling and automation, architecture & design.
  3. Leveraging and maximizing our clients' existing investments in ITSM tools and frameworks.
  4. Developing the roadmap and transient states to improve the maturity of DevOps practices and unlock maximum value by adopting NextGen techs like Generative AI and Platform Product Management.

You will be required to work and communicate with all levels of an organisation to collaboratively innovate, design, and implement modern technologies, processes, and operating models. You will bring an acute sense of market trends and the challenges facing our clients to deliver lasting and sustainable organisational transformations.

Key expectations from this role include:

  1. As a Managing Consultant or Senior Manager: desire to contribute to the growth and success of a top-tier consulting practice.
  2. Contributing to our market offers, knowledge and the overall strategic goals of the practice.
  3. In delivery and leadership, you'll be responsible for consulting sales in excess of 500,000 per annum.

We'd Love to Meet Someone With:

  1. Experience in transformation through technology and optimizing the way clients operate.
  2. Comfortable working in a technology-driven environment, with proven skills and experience in:
  • Solid understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud environments, DevOps, CI/CD and SRE.
  • Implementation of DevSecOps models along with necessary tooling, business change and processes.
  • Implementing product-centric operating models, focusing on building the right product, cultivating right ways of working and managing the flow of value from concept to delivery.
  • Experience in DevX, assessment of current development environment and implementing solutions that lead to more efficient, effective, and secure software development environments.
  • Experience in lean process design and use of lean techniques like Value stream mapping to identify and remove waste from the system.
  • Consulting/Coaching experience in implementing new ways of working and enabling agile delivery transformation.
  • Enabling continuous delivery while ensuring reliability, quality, observability, and performance.
  • Understanding of build and deployment pipelines, test-driven development, automated testing, test data management, automated environment provisioning, version control, monitoring and alerting, and DevOps enablers.
  • Understanding of observability and monitoring platforms; experience collaborating with developers to implement and improve observability and monitoring practices is preferred.
  • Experience in leveraging DORA framework to effectively improve the performance of DevOps teams is desired.
  • Experience in defining OKRs/KPIs, setting up processes/systems to measure, track and take corrective actions to drive speed, productivity, and quality improvements.
  • Security and governance models for cloud engineering and operations are desired.
  • Driving IT and business automation across product management, engineering, and operations is desired.
  • ITIL and service management experience.
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role, with previous consulting or advisory experience.
