Job Title: Management Assistant (Criminal Justice Command Team) - HC620461

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: Monday 21st April 2025 at 23.59 hours

Are you a highly organised and motivated individual who enjoys using your own initiative, is able to build good relationships with colleagues across a number of departments, and can be flexible should it be required?

We are looking for someone to join the Criminal Justice Command Team which covers Custody Centres, the Criminal Justice Unit, Victims Lead, Forensic Services and Investigation Standards. In this role, you will be providing essential administrative and operational support to members of the Leadership team by managing calendars, scheduling Board meetings and Senior Leadership meetings, as well as putting together agendas, collating papers, taking minutes, and cascading information as required. You will also be making travel arrangements and arranging accommodation for members of the team as required.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Educated to QCF Level 2 (3-5 passes including English and Mathematics) OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
  2. RSA II in Typing/Word Processing.
  3. Extensive secretarial or administrative experience in an office environment.
  4. Substantial experience of typing/word processing and proficient in document layout.
  5. Computer literate - experienced in the production and use of Microsoft Office software - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
