Management Accountant - VR/30725

Due to growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Management Accountant to join a dynamic Finance Team in Aberdeen.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Management Accountant to play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making for a leading organisation within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting monthly management accounts, flash reporting, and supporting financial analyses.
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, providing clear and concise commentary.
• Supporting the preparation of quarterly business review presentations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Assisting with tax compliance, liaising with external advisors as required.
• Managing weekly cashflow forecasts, accounts receivable tracking, and Capex reporting.
• Contributing to process improvements and systems enhancements within the finance function.
• Working closely with Operations Teams to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.

About You

• Qualified or part-qualified Accountant.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (Sage 200 knowledge beneficial).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
