Express Recruitment are excited to be working with an internationally renowned firm, who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Nottingham-based team on an initial 12-month contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential of becoming a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified, or close to qualifying, supporting the delivery of budgets and forecasts and a number of month end activities.

The salary of up to c£50k, with some excellent benefits including annual bonus, healthcare, the ability to purchase additional annual leave, an enhanced pension scheme plus many more! The role is hybrid, working from the Nottingham office 2/3 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee month-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Manage intercompany transactions, including expense recharges and balance reconciliation
  • Support balance sheet management, including fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments
  • Assist with statutory compliance and external audit preparations
  • Contribute to system administration, improvements, and implementation of new financial tools
  • Provide financial insights and support to department heads for informed decision-making
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, or near completion
  • Good time management and organisational skills
