Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance team, supporting financial operations, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Key details:

1. Fixed term contract – 6 months contract
2. Hybrid working pattern – home-based combined with at least 4 times a month in beautiful HQ offices in Buckinghamshire
3. Salary of up to ca £39,000 per annum (pro rated)

NB: candidates must be immediately available, or on a very short notice period

The role

As a Management Accountant, you will:

1. Support month-end processes and prepare management accounts.
2. Maintain cash forecasting models and oversee treasury management.
3. Assist in VAT preparation and compliance, including VAT partial exemption.
4. Manage investment reporting and support financial planning.
5. Improve finance processes and contribute to IT system implementations.
6. Oversee insurance portfolios and ensure compliance with financial policies.
7. Assist with business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

The ideal candidate

This Management Accountant contract will suit you perfectly if you have the following:

1. Fully qualified accountant OR part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, committed to completing their qualification.
2. Experienced in management accounts preparation, VAT returns, and financial reporting.
3. Knowledgeable in accounting principles, financial systems, and cash flow forecasting.
4. Highly numerate, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
5. A strong communicator, able to build relationships across teams.
