Job description

Role Description

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our finance team at Maria Mallaband Care Group. The Management Accountant will support this business function with monthly P&L, balance sheet preparation and weekly KPI’s to improve overall business financial performance.

  • Please note this is an office-based role and is based at our Leeds Head Office – LS126DB.
  • We are looking for somebody currently studying (CIMA or ACCA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for circa 80 homes monthly, including accruals, prepayments, variance analysis and commentary.
  • Detailed Accrued & Deferred Income preparation.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting the Finance Business Partners and liaising with Regional Directors with the analysis of management accounts.
  • Assisting the Chief People Officer with the HR section of the monthly board pack.
  • Assisting with budget preparation.
  • Weekly reporting of KPI’s to the board.
  • Landlord reporting in line with the group commitments to provide external bodies with monthly management information.
  • Submission of quarterly and annual national statistics for the group.
  • Develop and improve processes.
  • Any other adhoc reporting and analysis work required.
  • Support of annual audit.
