Management Accountant

We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our team, playing a pivotal role in our accounting and finance department within the transport and distribution industry.

Description

• Supporting the Financial Controller in the preparation of the groups consolidated monthly management accounts
• Taking responsibility for the month end reporting requirement, review monthly transactions and update forecasts, budgets, etc
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring they are accurately prepared and reported
• Ownership of the Intercompany reconciliation process on a monthly basis
• Support in the preparation of the quarterly updated cashflow forecasts
• Review of the company VAT return, including key reconciliations and analysis as appropriate
• Support with ad hoc analysis and projects as required

Profile

The successful Management Accountant should:

• Have previous experience in the preparation of management accounts (preferably consolidated accounts)
• Be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
