Michael Page are recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a well established manufacturing business based in Salford.
This role will include cost accounting, management accounts and business partnering with both shop floor staff and site management.
A well established manufacturing business with a purpose built head office & production site in Salford.
Our client has developed state of the art manufacturing facilities & processes in order to produce truly world class products.
With a commitment to the environment, the business has made significant strides in its waste management and manufacturing processes.
Management Accountant duties will include:
- Assistance with the generation of the monthly management accounts & commentary
- Assistance with the generation of the monthly rolling forecast & commentary
- Review & analysis of the accounts & forecast to understand key variances and opportunities for improvement
- Review & control of the Bill of Material ("BOM") costings of our sophisticated products
- Review of stock & costing processes & identification of possible savings & efficiencies
- Interaction with other key departments within the business
- Other ad hoc projects
The successful candidate will:
- Be part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience
- Have a proven track record within a manufacturing business
- Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
- Have strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables etc)
- Be able to work to tight deadlines
A salary up to £45,000, hybrid working, study support, pension, 25 days holiday, on site parking & more.
