The Role
As a Management Accountant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Fire Training Finance Manager, playing a pivotal role in support of three Fire Training contracts within the Land Training area; whilst being responsible for the day-to-day management of the financial operation and ensuring financial integrity of the contract accounting.
Day-to-day, you’ll be supporting the financial requirements of the contract and the day-to-day operations team whilst also playing a key role in driving efficiencies. You’ll also be providing all aspects of the Business Facing Finance activities within the Fire Training Contracts and this is a major role within the contract performance with a focus on increased fidelity and financial performance and controls in relation to cash generation, budgeting, forecasting and reporting:
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and requires regular travel to Portsmouth or London, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.
