Management Accountant

CMA is delighted to be recruiting for our Poole, Dorset client who are experiencing rapid growth within their successful specialist distribution business. They currently have a requirement for a Management Accountant to join their busy finance team on a permanent basis, paying a salary range of £38,000 to £42,000.

This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to make that step up to Management Accountant or for an existing Management Accountant to join a collaborative team liaising with multiple departments.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

1. Preparation of management accounts to trial balance;
2. Post month-end adjustments;
3. Producing variance and margin analysis;
4. General ledger reconciliations;
5. Assist with year-end audit.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

1. Studying towards a ACCA/CIMA professional finance qualification or qualified by experience;
2. Confident with full management accounts preparation, as you will be expected to hit the ground running;
3. Hands-on approach and flexible approach to work;
4. Confident systems user.
