Axon Moore have partnered with a fast-growing e-commerce retailer based just outside of Urmston, who are looking to strengthen their finance team with a nearly, or newly qualified Management Accountant.

Reporting into a big 4 ACA FD, you will be responsible for:

1. Lead the production of the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis and commentaries
2. Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process
3. Business partnering with heads of department focused on cost reviews and forecasting, including variance analysis to identify areas to be targeted for cost reductions
4. Period end balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
5. Work closely with the Finance Director on the year-end statutory accounts, audit, and tax queries
6. Review accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance function
7. Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
8. Involvement in projects to improve systems and processes to reduce time taken for reporting and development of reporting

Person Specification:

1. Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with proven Management Accounts experience, however part qualified or finalists will be considered
2. SME experience with a hands-on approach
3. Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment
4. Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach
5. The ability to create effective working relationships quickly
