Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Hybrid, or remote UK with occasional attendance at the London office

The role:
We’re looking for a proactive Management Accountant to support our financial operations and contribute to our company’s growth. In this role, you'll take ownership of preparation of our monthly management accounts and commentary, manage accounts payable and receivable, assist with month-end processes, and collaborate across teams to ensure our financial systems support key business decisions. Your insights will directly impact the evolution of our financial processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead preparation of monthly management accounts and commentary, including ownership of month end processes and reconciliations.
• Lead accounts payable/receivable, resolve financial queries, and manage credit control.
• Assist in preparing year-end accounts.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Support financial tasks in project management software (CMap) and provide operational support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance financial processes and systems.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant – ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Comfortable challenging and improving existing processes.
• Experience with project management and accounting software; CMap and Xero preferred; training provided.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and adaptability to new software.
• Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
