Location: Just outside Ipswich
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Are you a skilled Management Accountant with a passion for numbers and an analytical mindset? Our client, a leading manufacturer based just outside Ipswich, is looking to strengthen their finance team with an experienced Management Accountant. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and present accurate management accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring timely delivery and clear insights into business performance.
  2. Work with key stakeholders to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  3. Conduct detailed analysis of costs, identifying opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements within the manufacturing processes.
  4. Utilise analytical and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights, supporting decision-making across the company.
  5. Ensure financial processes comply with internal controls and accounting standards, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  6. Provide regular financial reporting to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.

Skills & Experience:
  1. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  2. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  3. Strong analytical skills with a focus on understanding and interpreting financial data to drive business decisions.
  4. Experience with analytical and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar) would be beneficial.
  5. A solid understanding of financial reporting and management accounting principles.
  6. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
