Management Accountant

Designer Contracts is the UK's largest flooring contractor operating from 13 regional facilities across the UK, employing over 300 staff and with a turnover in excess of £40m. As well as floor coverings, the company also supplies and installs curtains, blinds, furniture and lighting.

We are looking to recruit a proactive Management Accountant to join our friendly team at our Head Office based in Coney Green near Chesterfield.

Salary - £45,000 plus bonus

Type - Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

The key responsibilities for this position include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack
• Assistance with the year end audit and reconciliations
• Assisting the Finance Director with the annual Forecast
• VAT returns
• Fleet and Insurance
• Payroll

Key Requirements:

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an important and varied position within the finance function requiring experience in the key responsibility areas. This role is an assorted one and the applicant must be a team player, organised, have strong excel skills, a good understanding of accounting systems and be able to work autonomously.
