Due to continued growth, our Finance Shared Service Centre of excellence has an exciting opportunity to bring on board a new Management Accountant on a Permanent, Full-Time basis! Situated at our offices in Dunmurry, Belfast! Your new role comes with great opportunities for progression!

Your new role performs professional accounting work for our Americas region including compilation, consolidation, and analysis of group financial data. You will support our financial controllers along with managing and developing our Graduates and Assistant Accountants.

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Track progress against budgets within established finance systems and report variances as appropriate, ensuring compliance with local market financial laws, requirements, and regulations.
  2. Work independently to collate and analyse data using standard accounting methodologies, systems, tools, and formats to deliver high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the business.
  3. Responsible for the production of key financial documents including Statutory accounts; monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes; monthly management accounts pack.
  4. Manage and participate in the monthly accounting cycle, including assisting with the organisation and coordination of the month-end process and associated Board reports.
  5. Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice.
  6. Responsible for gathering and summarising data for non-standard analyses and reports, improvement projects, and programmes.
  7. Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
  8. Lead, coach, and develop an engaged and motivated finance team towards a high-performance culture of continuous improvement.

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria:

  1. ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
  2. Experience as an Accountant in a similar working environment.
  3. Cost Accounting experience desirable.
  4. Experience in owning and managing financial accounts.
  5. Experience in developing standard operating procedures and financial processes.
  6. Experience dealing with external Auditors.
