This is an exciting time to join the business and work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller, assuming a pivotal role within the finance team, holding comprehensive responsibility for overseeing and managing the company's finance function. You will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations, undertaking a crucial role in forecasting and business plans. A core aspect of this responsibility is ensuring the precision, consistency, and timely execution of financial reporting processes.
Salary - c.£55,000 p.a d.o.e.
25 days + statutory holiday
Hybrid working (ideally 4 days per week in office, however variance to this is available subject to discussion)

Key responsibilities will include:
You will be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a comparable role (ideally as a Finance Manager or similar in title) within an SME environment.
You will be proficient in the use of accountancy software (Sage/Xero or similar) alongside Excel, able to demonstrate a sound range of both commercial and financial leadership skills. Prior experience of integrating financial systems would be advantageous, as would experience in manufacturing costing models.
Prior industry experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry would be advantageous; however, it is not essential.
