Our clinic is conveniently located near the Reading town centre and railway station, offering services including primary care, health assessments, sexual health clinics, MSK, vaccinations, and coronary checks.

You'll use state-of-the-art technology with Pristina, engineered for a better patient experience throughout the breast care pathway, from screening and diagnosis to treatment planning and monitoring. You'll enhance our customer journey by performing screenings on-site during health assessments, ensuring patients receive fast and efficient service from screening to treatment.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the centre manager, you will work independently but as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the clinic. You'll show flexibility in shared tasks to ensure we provide the best quality service and establish good working relationships.

Our clinic can be very busy, and you must work efficiently in a complex environment while being adaptable and sensitive to a diverse working environment.

Duties include:
  • Organise the daily work programme to ensure the department runs efficiently.
  • Work flexible hours if required to accommodate changing workload patterns of the Mammography service.
  • Perform high-quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all patients being imaged receive a high standard of care.
  • Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results, and produce high-quality images for reporting.
  • Maintain and care for all equipment in the department, ensuring cleanliness, reporting faults immediately, and maintaining efficient resource use and stock control.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
  • A flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial.
  • Initiative in responding to service needs and a strong focus on streamlining the patient pathway through the imaging department.
  • Collaboration with the Lead Mammographer to maintain and enhance the Breast imaging service.
Qualifications:
  • BSc or DCR in Radiography and a Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography.
Benefits:

Our benefits support health and wellbeing through our Viva global programme, covering mental, physical, financial, social, and environmental aspects. We offer flexible working and family-friendly benefits, including:

  • An hourly rate that includes annual leave payment.
  • Inclusion in the NEST government pension scheme.
