Synergy Promotions are a leading Travel Retail Promotional Agency who promote the world's leading Beauty, Fragrance & Liquor brands within Heathrow Airport Duty Free Stores and across the United Kingdom & Ireland. We are seeking dynamic, passionate, and skilled Makeup Artists and Skincare Specialists to join our team at Heathrow Airport in the fast-paced world of travel retail. You will be representing premium beauty brands and offering world-class customer service to travellers looking to enhance their beauty and skincare routines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Makeup Artistry:
   1. Deliver expert makeup applications and consultations for customers, tailoring looks to their individual needs.
   2. Demonstrate and promote makeup products, creating memorable experiences for passengers.
   3. Stay updated on the latest makeup trends and techniques to offer customers the most current options.
2. Skincare Expertise:
   1. Offer personalized skincare consultations based on customers' skin types, concerns, and goals.
   2. Recommend and apply skincare products to promote healthy, glowing skin, educating customers on how to integrate these products into their daily routines.
3. Customer Engagement:
   1. Engage with international travellers and create a welcoming, professional, and friendly environment.
   2. Achieve sales targets and KPIs through effective product recommendations and customer service.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Proven experience as a Makeup Artist and/or Skincare Specialist, preferably in travel retail, high-end retail, or a luxury beauty setting.
2. Strong knowledge of makeup artistry, skincare routines, and product lines.
3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of customers.
4. Sales-driven mindset with a passion for meeting targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the unique needs of airport retail.
6. Flexible and adaptable to working varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

This role will be self-employed. Self-employed roles offer the freedom to choose your own shift patterns, giving you the flexibility to design a schedule that suits your lifestyle. While weekend availability is required, we offer ongoing, year-round work with a variety of shift times to accommodate different preferences. Our business operates 365 days a year, and as the role is based in an airport, shifts may start as early as 4am and run until 9pm, but with numerous shift options available within this window. We will work with you to find a schedule that fits, and we're looking for individuals who can commit to at least 30 hours per week with weekend flexibility. This role requires candidates to be 18 years of age or older due to the nature of the working environment.

Required:

1. You will be issued an Airside pass for airport access, which requires you to provide a complete 5-year history.
2. Criminal record check - Disclosure and Barring Service.
3. If you have resided outside of the UK for six months or more in the past five years, you will be required to obtain a police clearance certificate from the respective country.
4. You must also possess a valid passport and have the legal right to work in the UK.
