What does it take to be a Mechanical Engineer in Wastewater?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Obtained an NVQ level 2 Engineering/Mechanical qualification (or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship
• A full UK driving licence

Reporting to the Vacuum Systems Strategy Manager, the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:

• The day-to-day planned preventative maintenance
• General repairs and the rectification of faults at our sewerage vacuum systems
• Reporting on failing assets, diagnosing more complicated faults, and optimising asset performance across Huntingdon, Wisbech, and regional travel
