Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation (8.5-hour shifts: mornings, afternoons and nights)
Salary: £46,000 + Annual allowance to be used towards training or new qualifications + Overtime Opportunities + Soft Benefits
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, dynamic environment where your technical expertise will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our systems.
About the Role:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery including working with motors, rollers, belts, sensors, drives, and more.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Level 3 qualification in engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
