An experienced Maintenance Technician is required by our client, an ingredient company based in Kent. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to relevant current legislation/regulations, health & safety, maintenance systems, and processes to support production needs as and when required.
The successful candidate should have a strong academic track record in a process engineering-related discipline, or be a time-served maintenance technician with process control experience in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications required include NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline, or suitable experience as a time-served Maintenance Technician in a production environment. At least 5 years of experience in ideally a food manufacturing environment is necessary, along with a proven track record in production technical processes. IOSHH certification will be an advantage.
